Gita Koifman

Gita Koifman has been a member of the foundation since October 2006.

During the Holocaust she lived in Transnistria, in the Adrinech Ghetto, from 1941-1944.

Mrs. Koifman serves as chairperson of the Association of Concentration Camps and Ghetto Survivors, member of the Governing Council of the Center of Survivor Organizations in Israel, member of the Yad Vashem Council, member of the Parliamentary Association of Holocaust Survivors in Israel, Vice President of the International Holocaust Survivor Union.

Mrs. Koifman is a teacher and secretary by profession. She was employed in the Technion, in Haifa. She has a Masters Degree in Literature. She is married and has no children.
