Volunteering

The foundation operates a Volunteering aims to improve the quality of life for survivors in terms of relieving loneliness, leisure activities, the extraction rights and arrangements Sotfim.failot Volunteering is varied and Kimiim number of different channels as described below.

The volunteers undergo vocational preparation required prior to assignment to carry out their activities in accordance with a specific type of volunteer utilization specific needs.

Volunteering for survivors is an important moral activity which both donated and exciting stories testify as evidence of both the survivors and by the volunteers.

 

Significant reinforcement of the foundation's volunteer program is student scholarship recipients who volunteer with survivors for long-term social contact, in return for an annual scholarship. Fortunately, in the last year we managed to increase the number of scholarship courtesy of the French contribution for holocaust rememberance, FMS Foundation, donated a Significant contribution for scholarships to 36 students who visited more than 70 survivors in their homes (Givatayim, Ashkelon and Kiryat-Yam) once a week in order to reduce their loneliness through social contact
