The Claims Conference

The Conference on Jewish Material Claims against Germany works to ensure compensation and restoring of property to Holocaust survivors and the heirs of the Holocaust victims.


Information Center for Holocaust Survivors in Israel

The Information Center for Holocaust Survivors was founded on the initiative of the Claims Conference, the Israeli government and the Center of Holocaust Survivors Organizations in Israel. The Center's main object is to centralize and distribute information on the rights existing for the Holocaust survivors and their families.


The Bureau for Rehabilitation of the Disabled

The Bureau for Rehabilitation of the Disabled operates by virtue of two main laws (link to Hebrew site):the Law of Invalids (Victims of the War against the Nazis), 5714-1954 and the Law of Invalids (Victims of Nazi Persecution), 5717-1957. Its role is to give compensation to Holocaust survivors, and including veterans of the war against the Nazis.


The National Insurance Institute

The National Insurance Institute was established in 1953 as the main tool for reducing the economic differences in Israel and for guaranteeing economic protection for every inhabitant and family, in times of temporary or prolonged hardship.Hence, the National Insurance Institute serves as a tool for redistribution of part of the national income according to social criteria.


Amcha

Amcha, the National Israeli Center for Psychosocial Support of Holocaust Survivors and the Second Generation, is a nonprofit organization that deals exclusively with emotional and social needs of the Holocaust survivors and their families through a network of centers throughout Israel.


Yad Vashem

Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Martyrs' and Heroes' Remembrance Authority, was founded in 1953 by a Knesset law.Since its establishment, pursuant to the "Holocaust Martyrs' and Heroes' Remembrance Day Law – Yad Vashem", Yad Vashem has been charged with documentation of the history of the Jewish people in the Holocaust period, perpetuating the story of the lives and the memory of each of the 6 million martyrs and teaching the heritage of the Holocaust to the next generations.

Ghetto Fighters' House

The Itzhak Katznelson Holocaust and Jewish Resistance Heritage Museum is a testimony to the story of the founders and a memorial of the Holocaust, an expression of the revival and renewal of Jewish life in the State of Israel.


The Institute for the Study of the Holocaust - Massuah

Massuah, the Institute for the Study of the Holocaust, focuses on educational activity for youth and teaching staff from Israel and the Diaspora.
