The General Manager’s Statement, Mr. Yehoshua De-Goffer

 At this moment in time we need to make every effort in order to ensure that the Foundation can continue to realise its objectives, with the emphasis on efficiently and persistently providing the basket of services to those entitled. This means not only the various nursing services and grants but also, and no less important, everything that derives from the extreme loneliness and alienation with which some of the victims and survivors have to cope.

We shall continue to act with the aid and support of the Claims Conference and the Government of Israel, in cooperation with all the other relevant entities that are engaged in the sphere.

We are acting in order to improve the quality of service and simplify the various processes of the Foundation’s work, with the object of making routine operation more efficient and ensuring that the existence of the Foundation and its services come to the knowledge of all those entitled, including those who are presently not aware of their entitlement and the diverse assistance that is available.

Our staff and the volunteers who assist us bring with them the best professional qualifications and they work with the greatest sensitivity, responsibility and personal involvement.

I trust that with our combined forces and the cooperation of all those involved, we shall be able to meet our objectives and successfully contend with the complex material and moral challenges that we face.
